Mission
Business Management Ph.D. is a program that has global AACSB accreditation within the body of the oldest and the first Faculty of Business Administration University of our country which provides contemporary education, conducts scientific research, organizes scientific activities, trains scientists, and managers at the international level.

Knowledge:
1- Have a comprehensive theoretical knowledge of the field of business management.

4-Gain knowledge of the methodology required to research in the field of social sciences.

Skills:
1- Gain ability to analyze the theoretical information about the field, evaluate its reflections in practice, and direct the decision process in this direction.
2- Gain ability to process knowledge of the theories related to the field of social and behavioral sciences and to prepare reports in business life based on these. And also to prepare works following academic rules, and to manage all kinds of scientific projects related to the field.
3- Gain ability to lead and direct by using the experience and knowledge gained in the decision-making and implementation processes.
4- Gain ability to make inferences by blending theoretical knowledge with practice.
Competencies:
1- Gain ability do theoretical and empirical research comprehensively regarding the field of management organization
2- Be able to plan and manage all kinds of scientific or practical projects and goals related to the field.
3- Be able to expand the boundaries of knowledge by preparing and publishing at least one scientific article related to the field individually or through teamwork.
4- Be able to produce research-based solutions in line with the problems faced in the field; using the knowledge of research design, synthesis, application, and inference

Graduation Requirements
1.Minimum of 30 credits * (or 33/36 credits **) and to complete the seminar course. To have completed 240 ECTS in total.
* Students have completed the master's program of I.U. Social Sciences Institute, Department of Business will graduate with a total of 30 credits in two semesters.
** Doctoral program students have completed their undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration or a Master's Degree in Business Management and Organization Master's / MBA program, will graduate with a total of 33 credits in two semesters by taking "Evolution of Management Thought" course,
Ph.D. students who have not completed the programs mentioned above will graduate with a total of 36 credits in two semesters by taking the "Evolution of Management Thought" course and “Business Management and Organization” course additionally.
2 Being succeeded a minimum average of 65/100 and, AGNO 2/4.

Students graduate from Business Management Ph.D. program, get a "Philosophy Doctorate" title in the field.
Admission Requirements For Business Ph.D. Program
To be eligible for admission to this Ph.D. program, you will need to have,
1) A bachelor's degree and a Masters (MSc. or MA) degree from a Turkish university or recognized equivalents from international institutions,
2) A bachelor's degree with a minimum score of 3.00 out of 4.00 and a Masters degree with a minimum score of 30 out of 4.00,
3) A GMAT score of at least 550 or GRE score of at least 704 (ALES score of at least 75 for Turkish students),
4) An adequate level of proficiency in the English language with a TOEFL IBT test score of at least 90 (YDS score of at least 75 for Turkish students),
5) An eligibility score of at least 75 percent—see(a) below for details,
6) A bachelor's degree or a Masters degree (MSc. or MA) in a relevant field—see (b) below for details.
Your eligibility score will be calculated as follows:
• 50% of your GMAT, GRE or ALES score (in percent),
• 20% of your bachelor degree score in per cent and 10% of your Masters degree score in per cent (or 30% of the bachelor degree score in per cent for applicants without a Masters degree),
• 20% of your TOEFL IBT or YDS score (in percent).
